Black Pepper Oil is mostly produced in Indonesia and India, extracted using the steam distillation method. Has an aroma that is very woodsy, dry and spicy. Blends well with Ylang ylang, Tea Tree Oil, Lavender, Basil Oil, Bitter Orange, and Nutmeg Oil. Dating back all the way to Roman times, black pepper oil is said to be one of the oldest spices. It was once used in the embalming process by the Egyptians. Used extensively as a preservative for meats.
